#66512 #6V40 York Yard South to Port Talbot Grange Sdg 21.20

Anyone able to comment why this didn't run from North Blyth without a break at YYS?

Ran as #6C14 from North Blyth to York Yard.Should have been there for 34 minutes.
#6V40 went in as a VSTP ten minutes before departure so it looks like they've run it straight through.

Thanks for the info, I saw that it was on the list as #6C14 North Blyth to York and then on as #6V40, still not sure why it wasn't #6V40 for the whole journey.

Unless the supposed 34 minute break resulted in the change in headcode ajthough other moves lie over for longer but don't change headcode?

Binliners to Oxwellmains change headcodes at York--6E06 to 6S-something from York (6S00 ? can't remember)--though not on the returns which don't stop.

Thanks Derek, yes that did change (#6S15?) but I was thinking of #6M95 from Hull Coal Terminal to New Biggin which stops at Milford for about 4 hours before continuing as #6M95. Is it something particular to York, I just don't know, don't recall seeing it much previously. The DB binliners don't change headcode going either North or South. ????

It's Freightliner that change--DBC don't--so peculiar to the green team it would seem.

Thanks again Derek, yes it does seem to be the green team only who change, I still wonder why they do it?
