Yes it was on the rear and it was boiler first so I think it will need turning at Scarborough for it's run to KX tomorrow. Just discussed this with Martin Elsey!

Excellent news from the selfish point of view that I had thought about going to Pepper Road to see it --but I had feared it might be diesel hauled with 60103 inside --though there was no need for a diesel really as they can of course turn 60103 at Scarborough as they do on the Spa express.

Wonder if they are being fire-risk cautious---it must be getting dangerously dry now---not to mention what it'll be like after next weeks forecast heat !

I had a long day anyway, quite busy, so glad I didn't go--still got to spray some water on the garden pots etc !!!!

Might not have been too bad a shot at Pepper Rd with it been on the back. It was in light steam but we were surprised when the 47 came round the corner to Cas, I thought it might have been FS+coach with the stock going seperately but I didn't see any paths for that.
I presume it must be a fire risk precaution but will be the same tomorrow.
Just missed a Fl 66 whilst typing lol.
Yes, long day was up at 4.45 after an injection yesterday and up for work tomorrow!
